2009 President's Message
The Enviro Vault “internal tank chamber concept” is the most significant modification to the design of oilfield storage tanks in recent history. The Enviro Vault addresses environmental concerns posed by leaking valves and piping, in addition it also addresses the high service costs associated with spill clean up and frozen valves. Most importantly, it addresses serious safety concerns for those working with the tanks.
No other tank design offers the savings in servicing costs, personnel safety, and level of environmental stewardship that an Enviro Vault equipped tank does. We are proud to work with the leading tank manufacturers that install our product in their tanks for use throughout the US and Canada.
Though the Enviro Vault concept was initially introduced to address valve related concerns of the larger heavy oil tanks (750-1000 bbl), huge inroads have been made over the past 5 years into equipping new and retrofitting existing smaller tanks (25-400 bbl) used for storage of produced oil + water, as well as larger tanks in plant applications (to 5000 bbl).
New Enviro Vault designs introduced in 2009/2010 include:
- DuoVault - A completely new Tank in a Tank design that offers uninterrupted interstitial space below the high fluid level, full valve and piping containment and increased overflow prevention.
- FloVault - A separator package inside the Enviro Vault that offers a smaller footprint on the lease, heater efficiency using 1 heater for tank contents and equipment, and ease of transport.
- ThermoVault - An Enviro Vault with multiple catalytic or electric heaters designed to offer a cleaner, safer alternative to firetubes for smaller BTU heat requirement.
We continue to invest heavily into research and development for innovative tank technology that will enable us to continue providing the next generation solutions for tank safety and environmental stewardship.
